Catalonia Gran Via Bcn – A Favorite for Families in Barcelona

Catalonia Gran Via Bcn has an outdoor swimming pool on a rooftop terrace, a feature uncommon in central Barcelona. Guests also have access to a solarium and a fitness center with gym equipment. The pool area offers city views and is open during the summer months.

Each room is themed around international cities and air travel, with decor referencing global destinations. All 63 rooms have soundproofing, flat-screen TVs with satellite channels, and private bathrooms. Certain rooms include a private terrace or a private pool.

The Gourmet Corner serves à la carte dishes and a Mediterranean-inspired gastrobar menu. A buffet breakfast is offered daily with fresh orange juice, pastries, hot options, and gluten-free muffins. Breakfast is available at an additional cost of 14€ per person.

Urgell and Universitat Metro Stations are a 5-minute walk from the hotel, and the airport bus stop is right next to the property. Plaza Catalunya and Las Ramblas are a 10-minute walk away. Plaza de España, the Magic Fountains, and FIRA exhibition center are two metro stops from Urgell Station.

The hotel accepts pets and has family rooms with special accommodations for children. A concierge desk offers tour bookings, luggage storage, and dry cleaning. Guests can also earn loyalty benefits through the Catalonia Hotels program.
